We woke up to freshly fallen snow...

I shaped the cookies as hearts...

They came out of the oven more like blobs!

What a happy day to thank for the Lord for all

Happy HEART day (not really but we celebrated love
in our classroom with lots of valentines)!!!
Andrew met me and my kids at the movies
where we saw "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief"
and then we joined Dan and Bree for dinner
and watched some of the opening ceremonies of
2010 Vancouver Winter Olympians.

This is my VALENTINE BOX!!!
I really tried hard to make it look like a turtle...
however the shell was much harder than I anticipated!
You lift up the front side of the shell to open the box.
The kids were so creative with their boxes I will have
to put up some pictures tomorrow after the party :)

We had a guest speaker today who had traveled
to Antarctica three times.. what an adventure.
I'd love to do that someday!
