Pam and I went to dinner at Southlands tonight,
they have beautiful tulips again this year!
I took a picture even though they were a bit
damaged from all the cold weather still coming
through CO even though it's MAY tomorrow!

Well it rained last night and I woke up with
my car covered in brown.... then I heard that
the dust bowl rolled through, my car was physically
covered in brown,so I got my car a wash and
I did it by hand for the first time!

I got a new red coat on Sunday and I wore
it for the first time today!!!

I finished my Australia wall decor today...
I painted an aborigine kangaroo painting on
Friday and then the kids painted boomerangs,
using cotton swabs to create the dotting effect.
So I put them together with their Australia flag
creations to make a cute "Aussi Art" wall!

You are going to think I'm absolutely crazy...
since Andrew and I started dating I have saved
almost every stub from all the movies we've seen.
I put them all in order and taped them together.
Yes.... in order! So each year creates a large chain
of movie tickets! Total just since Jan 1, 2010 we have
seen.... drumroll please........................ 22 movies! :)
You can just imagine the length of each year!
When Andrew wrote on a card one day when we
were dating....... "for my lifetimemovie partner"
he really meant it.... :)

My first Skype Session with Amy!
So fun!! She gave me a virtual tour of all the
renovations they have done to their house!
Now if only everyone i loved had one of these I'd
get to see their faces more than once or twice
a year!

Then I skyped goodnight with Andrew...

I met Kristi and Sarah for dinner... would you
like to how how we all know each other?
Well I went to Australia with Sarah in 2005,
Sarah went to Medora with Kristi in 2006,
Kristi and I are college friends and lived together
my 4th year of college... and to make the world
even smaller.... Sarah and Andrew taught at
Christian summer camp together during college.

And one more thing - Happy Earth Day!
I read my students a letter from Mother Earth
and they wrote a letter back to her.... in the process
I had a sweet little boy ask "But didn't God create
the Earth"... yes sweetheart I agree!

today's devotional was having burden in our
lives and letting God transform that burden into
strength.

"The fact that the peace, light, and joy of God is in

carbonation to candy.... too weird for me!

Andrew had a snowday today... six inches when
we woke up but it was gone by noon due to the
wonderful Colorado sunshine!

So we saw another movie.... i think this is
the 12th movie we've seen this year (in
the theatre i might add)!

Andrew and I finally saw "The Last Song" ...

it didn't compare to the book (as always)
but it was still good. I wasn't sure what to
expect because Nicholas Sparks actually
wrote the screenplay for Miley Cyrus before
actually writing the book.

Easter Sunday!
We went to a wonderful church service
with the family. Then the cadets,
Andrew's HS friend Alex, and
two other family came over for Easter
dinner. Andrew took Amanda and Tyler
out for a couples photo shoot! I took a
picture of these beautiful orchids Meredith
got for Easter!

We taught Amanda and Tyler how to play hand-
and-foot (greatest game of all time!) I held my
ground winning the first three games (I was
partners with all three people). We played for like
4 hours this afternoon. But after the party tonight
Tyler and Amanda really picked up their game
and I lost my edge!!

Tyler and Amanda showed up last night
to surprise Meredith for her birthday!
We taught then some night writing and then
watched "The Hangover"... yes I finally
saw it... very funny :)

Tyler thought if he didn't use the timer he
could click the button and make it back to the
couch in time ... the picture tells you how well he did.
